ALL DMAX EMPLOYEES WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO WORK UNTIL MONDAY, JULY 13TH (INSTEAD OF THE ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED JULY 6TH). HOURLY EMPLOYEES WILL CONTINUE TO FILE THEIR UNEMPLOYMENT FOR ANOTHER WEEK. DMAX WILL BE MAILING A LETTER ADDRESSING THE ADDITIONAL WEEK OF LAY-OFF.
Mervin Miller, Former DMAX Shop Chairman, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2009. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
He was a leader who fought for what he cared about - the union worker! Every DMAX hourly worker knows the rewards of his blood, sweat and tears each and every day. The entire Local 755 and IUE-CWA sends their condolences to the Family of Mervin MIller in this time of sorrow.
