OF THE PRESIDENT, LARRY WEST:
Reported
that there will be a Local 755 Bowling Tournament on November 12th
at
Thanked Scott Bowling for
representing the Local at the Making Strides Against
Breast Cancer Walk at Dragon’s Stadium last Saturday. Scott spoke to the crowd on behalf of the
Local and also put together a team of walkers.
As in years past, Local 755 had a booth at the event and for the second
year in a row, gave away donuts to the walkers.
Also, thanks to Sue Bostwick for her help
manning the booth and to all Local 755 members who walked.
The
Ohio AFL-CIO has endorsed Issues 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 on the statewide ballot this
November. They urge all Union members to
support these issues, because they are good for organized labor and for working
families. You can get more information

Reported
that the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra and American Federation of Musicians
Local 101-473 have teamed up to show their support for Delphi employees by
offering complimentary tickets to the Philharmonster
show on Saturday, October 29th.
