Contribute to COPE - The job you save may be your own
What is Cope?
COPE, which stands for "Committee on Political Education," is the IUE's political action committee, which donates money to the campaigns of political candidates who support labor and working families with their stands on issues and their votes on specific legislation.
Why should I give to COPE?
It is essential that we have Congressmen, Senators, Judges and politicians at ALL levels of government who are supportive of working people and their families and who will support laws which will keep the workplace safe and the worker protected. If we do not have politicians in office who support labor, then laws get passed which hurt the working people of this nation. This directly affects YOU!
Big business outspends labor by a considerable margin, because they KNOW how important it is to have politicians in office who will support their best interests.
HOW DO I CONTRIBUTE TO COPE?
If you work in Delphi Chassis Kettering or any other IUE plant, see your Union Representative or COPE Chairperson. IUE Plants have COPE checkoff and your contribution can be automatically deducted from your check. You can give as little as $1.00 per month.
If you do not work in an IUE Represented plant, you may still contribute to COPE by sending a check to IUE-CWA-COPE, 501 W. Third St.NW Washington, DC 20001.
