regular 1st shift membership meeting was held on

Prayer
was held for the membership and the Local.
Roll
call was taken with Mike Allen, Sue Bostwick, Jerry Fyffe on sick leave, Todd Baker, Kim Derringer on
vacation. Joe Farmer, Von Fessler, Jim Holley, Rob
Hollister, Denny Mesarvey, Dan Palmer, Ed Potter and
Tim Stuck absent. Tony
Hamblin, Dan Johnson, Tracy Kelly, Stan Long, Todd Holbert
working and Brad Rice in training.

made and seconded to dispense with the reading of the April membership meeting
minutes, subject to question.

REPORT
OF THE EXECUTIVE SECRETARY, DAVID HILL:
Reported
that there has been very little negotiating on benefits. The benefit package will likely be the last
thing negotiated in the bankruptcy process.
Reported that Larry and Dave went on the bus trip to
support the retirees. The retirees have no vote or voice on the
contract. Their only recourse is to sue
Reported on meetings with management last week. The
corporation told us that they were not taking 40 hours vacation away.

OF THE PRESIDENT, LARRY WEST:
Reported
that the advertising we have been doing has begun to pay off. Call volumes and rentals are up.
Gave an update on the new Bingo.

that he had Soundforce install a number of microphone
jacks in the wall of the Union hall so that we can keep the amplifier in the
conference room.
