REGULAR MEMBERSHIP MEETING
The regular 1st shift membership meeting was held on

Motion made and seconded to dispense with the
reading of the February membership minutes, subject to question.

Dave reported that we could have some voluntary
layoffs coming very soon.
Explained why supervisors were carrying around stop
watches.
Reported on J.T. Battenburg’s
salary. Now 9.5 million dollars per year.
Gave an update on formulating demands for the
National negotiations.
Reported on upcoming fish fry.
Reported on the rumor that 801 was coming over to
plant 11.
Reported on management sending out an unapproved
document on safety glasses.

REPORT OF THE EXECUTIVE SECRETARY, DAVID HILL:
Reported that the traditional employees should have
received a personal total compensation summary.
Should have been mailed out by March 17th.
The competitive new hired should have had their
credited service statement. If they have
not received it, they should see their benefit rep.
Reported on District 7 meeting. The topic was the high cost of health care.
